The increasing digitalisation of people's living and working environments results in more frequent encounters with robots. How people react to robots plays a decisive role in how these machines are used.
In the RoboLAB, we are therefore researching a wide range of issues in the field of human-robot interaction. The aim of our research is to gain a better understanding of the factors that influence human-robot interactions and to develop recommendations for the human-centred design of human-robot interactions.
The RoboLAB enables research into direct interactions with a humanoid robot for research projects and final theses. The robot is characterised by its ability to recognise speech and provide voice output. It can therefore be used in a variety of ways. This means that a wide variety of interaction scenarios can be researched in which direct contact with robots takes centre stage.
