In the context of work in organisations, it is very important to deal with physical and mental demands in such a way that people remain healthy, motivated, and productive into old age. The WHP approach focuses on the conditions of the working environment and aims to organise work in a preventive and diversity-oriented way.

eHealth and Workplace Health Promotion
eHealth Tools in Workplace Health Promotion (and Company Health Management)
More and more companies are implementing Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) in their corporate culture to promote the health of their employees. In the process, HR developers are confronted with familiar problems, ranging from non-target analyses, uninspired intervention proposals, decreasing participation and ending of health intervention. To counter this negative trend, new impulses in the WHP are necessary. At the same time, the growing potential of new technologies or media should not be ignored. A variety of smartphone apps that promote health awareness and behavior are already existing. However, there are not yet many verifiable concepts for the integration of such apps into the WHP.
The Department of Work and Organizational Psychology conducts scientific studies on the topic of "eHealth Tools in Workplace Health Promotion".
The results of this research work can be used to develop special services in the field of eHealth and occupational health promotion within the framework of this project.
